There's good news for residents of Mississippi interested in medical marijuana! The executive director of the Mississippi Cannabis Trade Association recently announced that he predicts patients will be able to purchase medical marijuana by the end of October!
119 dispensaries in Mississippi have already received licenses and thousands of patients have registered with the state. When dispensaries open up, all of these patients will be ready to buy cannabis products!
The Mississippi Cannabis Patients Alliance recently hosted their very first patient seminar, which introduced patients to new regulations products that will soon be available for purchase.
People who attended the seminar were taught how to register with the state for the medical marijauna program, including information ranging from which conditions qualify a person to how to safely store medical marijuana.

Medical marijuana cards will be valid for 12 months, and after that patients will need to renew their recommendation
There is a $25 nonrefundable fee to be paid to the state when you register. Veterans and first responders register for free, and Medicare patients will pay only $15
With a medical marijuana card, you can legally purchase up to 21 grams per week and roughly 3 grams per months
